  The Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa and Homoeopathy (abbreviated as AYUSH) is purposed with developing education, research and propagation of indigenous alternative medicine systems in India .The Ministry of Ayush was formed on 9th November 2014 to ensure the optimal development and propagation of Ayush systems of health care .  The Ministry is headed by a Minister of State (Independent Charge), which is currently held by Shripad Yesso Naik

N.C.H :  The National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH) has been constituted by an act of Parliament known as The National Commission for Homoeopathy Act, 2020 which came into force on 05.07.2021 by gazette notification dated 05.07.2021. The Board of Governors in supersession of Central Council of Homoeopathy constituted under section 3 of The Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 stands dissolved thereafter.

 It is the only Health University in the North Eastern Region of India and was established in 2009 under “The Srimanta Sankaradeva University of Health Science Act, 2007”. The University offers around 90 Courses through its Affiliate colleges, which stand at 47.  This University Offers up to   Ph.d. course in Homoeopathy
